PLOT TWIST! AIDAN ISNT BUMMING EVERYONE OUT FOR ONCE!

This song and really this EP kind of decribes my feelings on my mental state I think. Every so often Ill just feel really down for no reason. Sometimes for a short period of time and sometimes for longer. I wrote this after coming out of what felt like a long time. The song kind of speaks for it's self! Im not always happy so when I am I wanna embrace and let everyone know that Im doing alright and you should be to before were all bummed out about something again! Or bummed about nothing again!

On a recording level THIS. TRACK. TOOK. SO. FUCKING. LONG.

There are so many moving parts to this track. The Chiptune stuff was recorded off of a LSDJ emulator on my phone but the timing was off so I had to move stuff over slightly ever couple seconds. theres like a million texture tracks on the spacey breakdown (Ebow harmonies on both Guitar and banjo, Open tuning my guitar and the hitting with mental knives, Which is something the smiths used to do, ect.) but Im really really pleased with how it came out and I think it works better as a way to cap off a split then a EP anyways.

The song title came from one of my favorite web comics "Questionable Content" By Jeph Jacques! Originally the song was called "Sunshine" but then I was flipping through my gallery on my phone for photos to use for the album art and came across a screen shot where the punchline was my favorite character saying "Anxitey Hour Is Canceled" and I was just like "Damn, thats so perfect" just seemed to fit super well.
